STUDENTS, HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: ARE YOU DEMONSTRATING TOMORROW? READ THIS FIRST — English

Translation of the French article by Jacques Rouchaud

Tomorrow, you will be in the street. You are right to be angry.

Your future worries you. Studies are expensive, housing is impossible to find, diplomas no longer guarantee anything, and you are promised work until 64 or 67 for a pension that no one knows will still exist. Your anger is just.

But look the truth in the face

The politicians, for their part, couldn’t care less. How many demonstrations in fifty years? Hundreds. And what has changed? Nothing. They wait for you to get tired, for the rain to disperse you, for the exams to come. Then they go back to their velvet seats, to vote their allowances and their pension quarters as a gift.

A demonstration is a cry. But a cry does not change the structures of a country.

Demosciocracy: moving from anger to construction

Demosciocracy proposes something else: a country organised into territories, where everyone has their place. Territory Councils close to you. A Chamber of the People. A Chamber of Corporations where those who know the field finally decide, instead of being pushed aside. Liberty – Equality – Truth.

It is not one more party. It is a new system, and it is not fixed: you will be able to improve it as you go along, with your ideas, your energy, your way of seeing the world. It is you, the youth, who will be its builders.

Your new life begins here

So yes, demonstrate tomorrow. Make yourselves heard. But afterwards, don’t go home empty-handed. Think instead about coming to fill in the membership forms of demosciocracy. It is demosciocracy that will give you the new life you wish for: a country where you are truly listened to, where public money serves everyone, and where the rules are the same for all.
